Administrative Vacancies
ELEMENTARY ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS ONLY
Principal applicants must be approved by the Office of Catholic Schools to seek an administrative position in the schools of the Archdiocese of Chicago.
The qualifications for principals in the elementary schools of the Archdiocese of Chicago are as follows:
The principal must be a practicing Catholic who evidences knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith. The principal shall have a master's degree in school administration.
- The principal shall give active witness to the Catholic Tradition including post Vatican II teaching.
- The principal shall have or be working toward certification as Coordinator of Religious Education as stipulated by the Office of Catholic Schools.
- The principal shall be state certified in school administration.
- The principal shall have a minimum of three years (full-time) professional experience in a Catholic school, e.g., teacher, administrator, counselor.
